Paula is more physically active than Ken and participates in more solo and group activities. She likes to run, swim,
bike and ski, but also has taken up drawing and painting.
Ken likes to walk. Maybe skate sometimes. He also likes to build things. That’s not work, it’s recreation.
The cottage is a good place to satisfy both their recreational needs. Going to the cottage is a cheap holiday that can
be taken anytime, many times.
Vacations to other places should ideally incorporate some physical activity for Paula. Ken is just happy to walk
around and look at things.
